Helmet Decoration Painting
The word for teapot in Russian - "Chai-neek" - is a slang term for ski bum.
Acrylic paints on a ski helmet, with a clear glaze UV protective top coat.
My father commissioned this custom painting from me onto his ski helmet.
This is a comical, playful piece - and it glows in the dark!

Nanook and Grace
The furry members of our families don't live as long as we do, and our human hearts ache when they go. Their lifetime with us is so filled with unconditional love and pure, primal joy, that the ache we feel when they go is worth it. Our ability to care for an animal, and to treasure their companionship prolongs our own lives in return.
